Church of Scotland

St Anne's Church, Corstorphine

worship:LIFE!

Morning Worship is at 11am every Sunday and is led by our minister, Rev MaryAnn Rennie. The Sacrament of Holy Communion is celebrated on the last Sunday of January, April, June and October at 11:00am and at 3:00pm on the last Sundays of January and October. On Wednesday 25 April 2007 and on Wednesday 27 June 2007 the Sacrament of Holy Communion will be celebrated at 7:30pm.
A short Communion Service is also held, after Morning Worship on Easter Day and on the Sunday nearest to Christmas Day. On the last Sundays of February, March, May, September and November a short Communion Service is held in the Youth Chapel after Morning Worship.

Worship at St Anne's follows a traditional pattern of Church of Scotland with the Word of God taking central place in the proceedings. Before heading to their Sunday School groups the children are welcome to the early part of the service, and as well as listening, occasionally take a more active part in worship.

During the summer months there are two services, one at 10am and one at 11am. The 10am service takes the form of a family service.
