TWINNING IN ACTION

The Formal Twinning Agreement between our two churches was signed simultaneously in Lusaka and Edinburgh on September 29th, 2013, watched on Skype by members of both congregations – a very happy, very emotional time for us all.  That evening messages were exchanged between the two Communications Coordinators, one in Lusaka, one in Edinburgh and twinning seemed to come alive.

Details of their organisations have been exchanged by the Guild (in Scotland) and the Women’s Fellowship (in Zambia) followed by others from the Sunday Schools, St. Anne’s Friends and Neighbours (FAN) Club, the organists, the Guides and Brigades with plans now to have regular Skype sessions so successful was the first one for Senior Sunday School children.  St Andrew's has sent details of how they select, train and support Elders, whilst St Anne’s is sending them its monthly magazine.
