Sunday Club
Picture
On a Sunday Morning our popular Sunday Club meets with groups for all ages. There is a creche where children under 2½ are looked after so parents can attend worship.

At the Beginners Sunday Club, for children of two and a half to school age, the younger children enjoy learning about the Christian faith through stories, music, artwork and structured play.

Children of primary school age follow the Seasons of the Spirit teaching material which is closely integrated with the material used for the main service, giving them a sense of being part of the Church. The readings from the service are followed up in the themes of the Sunday Club activities. The children have so much fun taking part in drama, art, games and adventures inside and out.

Sunday Club for secondary age youngsters takes a more pro-active approach and they enjoy discussing many topics, from what happened to them that week to the pressing news stories from around the world.

Learning about being a Christian in today’s world they run a successful Fairtrade Stall, helping to raise awareness within the church of these global issues.

Messy Church, in conjunction with The Old Parish Church, takes place on a number of occasions during the year, developing seasonal themes and drawing in a range of youngsters from both congregations and parishes.
